Deb Monahan,
Executive Director
This year TVCCA celebrates 45 years of service to the community.
We began in 1965 with a small planning grant and one employee. Today, with a workforce of over 400 employees and leveraging resources of over $26 million, TVCCA continues to serve those in need in our communities. What has changed is the way we provide the service; what has remained constant, passing the test of time, is the compassion and care we show to those seeking services from us.
Our service delivery system has changed over the last four and a half decades from a single provider agency to a leader of strong partners who work closely together to ensure that the clients we are serving are supported and guided on the road to economic security and self-sufficiency. Our partners are other health and human services agencies where we share space, jointly provide services and combine resources to maximize our results. Our partners are private, local businesses, such as oil dealers, who work closely with us from early winter to early spring to deliver fuel to the individual homes of our clients. These strong collaborations that have developed over the years make our community better for all of its citizens.
Aaron Daniels, Jr.
Board Chairman
TVCCA has weathered many economic challenges. Funding has decreased, been eliminated, changed, increased and become service driven. Results-based accountability and documentation are key to services being provided and reported out to our funding sources.
Passing the test of time…Our dedicated staff remain committed to compassionate, sensitive, caring service at all times. We listen, we understand, we plan with and we work with each client to assist them effectively and quickly.
Passing the test of time…For 45 years, TVCCA has been working with and working in the community, working with and working beside community partners. Through prosperous times and challenging economic times, TVCCA has served those in need…passing the test of time.
