This past year has brought CHANGE of dynamic proportions to TVCCA and the way we do our jobs.
Our strategic plan is well into implementation and our communities appreciate the struggles and successes that accompany our work in stabilizing the economic security of many citizens in need. The challenges of rising unemployment and increasing numbers of newly unemployed have begun to stretch our staff and systems. The number of citizens in need continues to rise requiring us to adapt our intake and service delivery systems to meet this demand. Monthly our strategic plan activities are reviewed, discussed and revised to meet the community and client needs. We are adapting to our communities’ requests.
Our partnerships have expanded and aligned with changing program operations. Our relationships have been improved and strengthened and payment systems streamlined to meet partner requirements. Businesses, fellow non-profits, and other vendors depend on us to quickly distribute resources and revenues used to serve our clients.
Our municipalities understand our challenges and work closely with us to meet the service demands of the growing number of individuals we are seeing. The Council of Governments formed a Human Services Coordinating Council with TVCCA and other key health and human services partners to ensure open and dynamic communications occur.
The severe economic struggles being faced by the nation and the state will require TVCCA to continue to adapt and change the way we operate our programs’ services. We will reorganize, realign and restructure our staffing and program designs to ensure a high level of service delivery, accountability and transparency in every way.
But, rest assured our commitment and dedication to all those in need throughout our region’s communities remains unwavering.
We will continue to advocate for those who need assistance. We will work closely with our funders and our partners.
We are TVCCA and we care. That has remained unchanged since 1965.
