The Financial Education and Self-Sufficiency Program can help you with the tools and skills to develop household budgeting and credit management skills that will allow you to take command of your financial future. The program provides financial education through a combination of classroom and one on one services, basic needs case management supports, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
Learn to apply effective household budgeting and credit management skills personalized to your own financial situation. Through these One on One’s, you will have the ability to establish your own personalized goals, develop your own household budget and learn additional ways to cut costs and save money. You’ll also access your free credit reports and receive ongoing support and encouragement from dedicated TVCCA Case Managers. If eligible and needed, participants can receive assistance accessing support services to help with certain household and other financial hardships (like nutrition and heating assistance).
