Giving Options

Donate Directly
Gifts of cash sustain our program. You may click here to give online. Your donation can be designated to make a gift "In Honor Of" an individual or "In Memory Of" a loved one who has recently passed, or on the anniversary of his/her death. We will notify the honoree/ family of honoree if you desire. Donations can be made out to "TVCCA Meals on Wheels Program."

Securities
Donating securities (stocks and bonds) that have appreciated in value not only allows you to avoid the capital gains tax, but is a good way to leave your legacy of caring for future generations.

Real Estate
If you own unwanted property, you have the ability to convert it into a useful donation for TVCCA recipients.

Gift Through Your Will
Will bequests are a personal way to make a difference that lasts beyond your lifetime. A bequest is a charitable gift that is to be delivered at the donor's passing. In preparing your will, or a codicil to an existing will, ask your attorney to include such words as these to ensure your wishes are fulfilled: "I give TVCCA Meals on Wheels a non-profit, charitable organization in Southeastern Connecticut (amount of Dollars) or (a percentage of my estate, securities or real or personal property), to be used for its general purposes (or a specific purpose)."

Donate Through A Payroll Deduction Program
You can make a pledged gift through your company's payroll deduction program.

Corporate Matching Gift
Ask your Human Resources officer if your company matches charitable gifts. Such matching can double your gift that you make to TVCCA's Meals on Wheels.
