  • Office Assistant
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $10.99/hr - 15 hours per week
    Qualifications: Associates Degree and/or plus one year related work experience or a High School diploma plus 2 years work experience. Considerable knowledge of computer usage including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. Excellent verbal and written communications skills including a working knowledge of correct grammar and spelling. Proficiency in mathematical functions also required.
    Description: This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the programs. Responsibilities include data entry, generating reports for the various funding sources. Manage incoming phone calls, and coordinate the collection of program data. Must have an understanding of and compassion for the needs of older volunteers and individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds. Must have current driver’s license and access to reliable insured transportation for daily travel as needed.

  • Manager, National Senior Corp. Programs (Two Positions)
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $16.71/hr - 35 hours per week
    Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Social Work, Gerontology, or related field, plus three years of related experience, at least two of which were administrative or supervisory in nature. Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
    Description: This position is responsible for the recruitment, training, and placement of individuals in various stations throughout the County. The manager is responsible for providing meaningful volunteer opportunities, opening sites, and adding new volunteer stations, handling public relations initiatives in the region, and maintaining positive matches between the volunteers and participants. Must have an understanding of and compassion for the needs of older volunteers and individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds. The Program Manager shall learn, implement, and follow all program policies and procedures and act as a liaison between volunteers, station staff, participants, and administration.
    Location: New London and Killingly, Connecticut

  • Assistant Shelter Worker
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $9.01/hr - Fill-In positions available
    Description: This fill-in position is responsible for the well being of the shelter residents. Must be aware of physical surroundings and be cognizant of security issues. Responsible for answering the door, greeting residents and completing intake information on new residents. Must be able to provide support and understanding to families in crisis. Assistant Shelter Workers provide supervision to the shelter on weekends, holidays and when regular shifts need to be filled.
    Location: Norwich / New London in Connecticut

  • Assistant Teachers
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $10.99/hr - 30-35 hours per week - 42-52 weeks per year
    Qualifications: 12 credits in Early Childhood Education and obtain CDA upon hire.
    Location: New London County, Connecticut; Brooklyn, and Groton, Connecticut; Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, CT

  • Head Teachers
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $14.52/hr; 42-52 weeks per year
    Qualifications: Associates Degree in ECE with 12 credits in ECE
    Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 12 credits in ECE
    Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and State of Connecticut Certification Pre-K
    Description: Responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum; supervision of classroom operation, staff, and children.
    Location: Three Rivers Children's Center in Norwich, Connecticut
