  • Teacher Aide
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $9.01/hr - 35 hours per week - 52 weeks per year
    Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
    Location: Taftville and New London, CT

  • Meals on Wheels Driver
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $9.01/hr - 15 hours per week
    Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
    Location: Southeast Connecticut Floater

  • Associate Assistant Teacher - ECE Infant/Toddler Classrooms
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $9.58/hr - 35 hours per week - 52 weeks per year
    Qualifications: Six credits in ECE and upon hire begin CDA process, and obtain within 18 months and maintain certification to remain qualified. Obtain a minimum of three ECE credits per year for a total of twelve ECE credits.
    Location: Taftville, New London, and Brooklyn, Connecticut

  • Assistant Shelter Worker
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $9.01/hr - Fill-In positions available
    Description: This fill-in position is responsible for the well being of the shelter residents. Must be aware of physical surroundings and be cognizant of security issues. Responsible for answering the door, greeting residents and completing intake information on new residents. Must be able to provide support and understanding to families in crisis. Assistant Shelter Workers provide supervision to the shelter on weekends, holidays and when regular shifts need to be filled.
    Location: Norwich / New London in Connecticut

  • Substitute Teacher Aides
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $9.01/hr - 15 hours per week
    Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
    Location: New London County, Connecticut

  • Assistant Teachers
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $10.99/hr - 30-35 hours per week - 42-52 weeks per year
    Qualifications: 12 credits in Early Childhood Education and obtain CDA upon hire.
    Location: New London County, Connecticut; Brooklyn, Groton, and Montville, Connecticut; Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, CT

  • Community Life Skills Instructor
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $12.64/hr; up to 19 hours per week
    Qualifications: Bachelors degree plus two years experience working with challenged adults. Equivalent experience working with challenged adults and/or DMR clients will be considered in lieu of education.
    Description: Responsible for the one-to-one companionship, socialization, and program case management of mentally challenged older adults in a community Day Program. Instructors design outings and activities to meet the needs of their clients and ensure that the activities are enjoyed in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
    Location: Norwich, Connecticut

  • Head Teachers (anticipated start date 8/18/2008)
    Pay/Hours: Starting Minimum $14.52/hr; 42-52 weeks per year
    Qualifications: Associates Degree in ECE with 12 credits in ECE
    Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 12 credits in ECE
    Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and State of Connecticut Certification Pre-K
    Description: Responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum; supervision of classroom operation, staff, and children.
    Location: Jewett City and Montville, Connecticut
