The Italian Carnevale is a celebration for the return of spring. Celebrated differently throughout Italy, each city having its own culture and activities for the celebration. Carnevale is a weekend of festivities with costumes, parades, carnival atmosphere, parties and feasting.

Where: Port 'N Starboard at Ocean Beach, New London, CT
What: An evening of dinner, dancing, and entertainment!
Join us for an evening festival featuring food, theatrics, dance, exciting drawings donated by local businesses, and a cash bar.
There will be a 24 foot-long Antipasto buffet, carving stations, design your own pasta stations, salads, Italian Ices and delicious desserts (View a detailed menu here) prepared by Joseph Tate, Executive Chef - Ocean Beach Port 'N Starboard; Timothy Grills - Director Nutrition Services TVCCA and Former Owner of Timothy's "The Place To Dine"; Jeff Gordon - TVCCA Assistant Food Service Director and formerly Executive Sous Chef, Mohegan Sun; Anna Lathrop - Owner Gourmet Galley Catering; Sean Coleman - General Manager Beachside Catering, a Division of Grossman's Seafood; and Dave Vacca from the Bridge Restaurant, Westerly. Entertainment will be provided by the Mystic Paper Beasts Theater Company, masked theatre for all ages, and live dance music with Mind, Body and Soul featuring a variety of upbeat classic music including Motown, rhythm and blues, soul and swing dance music. Attire for this event is elegant casual.
So step into the mystical magical time, enjoy old friends, make new acquaintances, and wipe away the winter cobwebs! All proceeds will go to the Meals on Wheels program for seniors who in their lifetimes have contributed so much to our communities.

Camera-ready art is preferred. In the event that ad development is needed, it will be provided
at no charge, but without proofs prior to printing. Camera-ready is defined as clean,
black/white art, or electronic files (PDF, ILLUSTRATOR, EPS, TIF, or JPEG) art. Please
