What’s New in WIC

TVCCA’s WIC program is developing a new Breastfeeding Peer Counselor program which will be funded through a special grant from the US Department of Agriculture through the CT Department of Public Health. The program will provide a structure where women-support-women by helping them make educated choices about infant feeding, sharing strategies that will address common breastfeeding concerns, providing basic breastfeeding information and more! Moms helping moms: that's what it's all about. Stay tuned for more updates!
