Santa Anonymous Winter Boot Program

Once again, the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is sponsoring the Santa Anonymous Winter Boot Project.  Last year, over 700 low-income children throughout New London County received warm winter boots for the holidays!  We are presently looking for donors to help us meet our requests for new winter boots.  If you would like to participate in this worthwhile effort, please call 425-6617.  You will then receive a letter with the first name, gender, age and boot size of the assigned child(ren).  We will also provide you with further instructions, including how to wrap the boots and information about dropping them off.  A monetary donation may also be made for the purchase of new boots and to help support the cost of providing this vital community service.

Help Keep Every Child Equipped

The RSVP program is accepting school supplies for elementary age children.  We want to help ensure that every child is given the opportunity to have the school supplies they need to be successful this school year.  The donated items will be given to local schools and distributed to the children in need.  RSVP volunteers will stay in contact with the schools to help replenish supplies throughout the year.
