Thames Valley Council for Community Action, Inc. (TVCCA) greatly appreciates that you and the Board of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Foundation have selected our agency to receive a $2100.00 grant in support of the 16th Annual Santa Anonymous Winter Boot Project operated by our Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Southern New London County. Thank you for providing the funding which will enable our RSVP to essentially launch this year’s event in grand fashion to provide much needed winter footwear for hundreds of children from low income families.
Also, thank you very much on behalf of the many volunteer senior citizens who comprise our RSVP staffing and contribute greatly with their time and experience in many capacities throughout many communities in our service area. The Santa Anonymous Winter Boot project is especially favored by and mutually beneficial for the seniors every year. Project success continues to be a tribute to generous local organizations like the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Foundation.
TVCCA’s RSVP Program Director, Cathy Visco, will gladly and proudly represent TVCCA and the RSVP volunteers at the press conference scheduled at the Chamber Office on March 25th at 1:00 p.m. Also, we will gladly acknowledge your generous grant on our web site at www.tvcca.org.
Again, we are grateful to have the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Foundation as a valued partner in our community. Your investment is crucial to our success. By demonstrating local support, your organization’s award enhances our ability to leverage additional funding from other sources. We thank you again for recognizing our efforts and working with us to help Greater New London’s needy children keep their feet warm this winter.
