Little Learners Early Education

Application Process/Eligibility

It is the goal of TVCCA’s Little Learners Early Education Program to provide quality education program to as many children as permitted by license and funds. Efforts will be made to achieve and maintain full enrollment at all times. Our program encourages a diversification of children that includes a mix in the following categories: social, economical, age, gender, and ethnic characteristics. Enrollment priorities are as follows:

• Working parent(s) whose income is under 75% of State Median Income and who need full-time childcare (minimum thirty 30 hours weekly)
• Families enrolled in a DSS training program and require a minimum of 30 hours of care weekly, during center operating hours
• Families needing full time childcare
• Children referred by DCF
• All parents who are eligible are required to apply for the Care 4 Kids Program, or pay full fee
• Applicant pool shall continue to be maintained
• Little Learners management determines placement in a classroom based on income, residency, age and development of the child. Upon enrollment we begin a transition period of up to 30 days to evaluate whether the placement is appropriate for your child. If we feel the placement is not appropriate your child may be withdrawn and we will provide you with additional resources.

Items to bring to enrollment

• Money Order in the amount of $25.00 per child for a registration fee
• Birth Certificates for enrollee
• Social Security Cards for everyone in the household
• Updated physical that has been done with one year
• Letter on letterhead stating days, hours, and wages from employer
• 4 consecutive pay stubs if paid weekly or 2 pay stubs if paid bi-weekly
• Any TFA (cash assistance) or food stamp documentation
• Any child support documentation
• Medical Insurance Card
• Lease or current bill with current address on it

Fees/Tuition

Little Learners Early Education Program fees are based on a sliding fee scale determined by your income. Our centers accept all childcare subsidies.
