The purpose of the State Administered General Assistance Program (SAGA) is to provide case management services to single, non disabled adults, and other “vulnerable” individuals with incomes below 150% of the Federal poverty level. Services include but are not limited to case management, information and referral, and protective services.
Program referrals may be made by the Connecticut Department of Social Services, Info line, local social service agencies, or by word of mouth. Client may be seen by appointment or on a walk in basis. All clients complete a client assessment to determine appropriate assistance. Intensive case management services are available as needed.Assistant Director: Jason Martin
