Using the principles of mediation, this program aims to prevent homelessness by bringing landlords and tenants together to stop an eviction. All participants must agree to attend a mediation session to iron out the issues leading to an eviction action. There is a state-funded rent bank which may be accessed to pay some of the back rent owed by the tenant.

In order to participate, a tenant must meet the following criteria:
• Income within 60% of state median
• Landlord willing to participate
• Rent may not be more than 60% of gross income
