The TVCCAA Supportive Housing Programs offers permanent supportive housing. There are two distinct programs, The TVCCA Supportive Housing Collaborative and the A.P.T.S./ Next Steps Supportive Housing Program.
This program serves families and individuals with a housing subsidy and supportive services. In order to participate, individuals and the head of household in families must be homeless and permanently disabled.
All participants have a case manager to work with. The case managers are from any one of our collaborative partners:
All services are voluntary and are not a requirement to receive housing services. TVCCA has operated supportive housing for over a decade and has seen many success stories. A partnership with a case manager can open many doors and provide opportunities for growth and independence.
Entrance to this program is through the Southeastern Connecticut Supportive Housing Waiting list. Our region (New London County) utilizes a centralized waiting list for all supportive housing programs available in New London County.
This program serves single adults only. At the time of admission, participants must be homeless and permanently disabled or a history of substance abuse. The capacity of this program is 9 participants. As in the above program, entrance is through the regional waiting list.
Please contact our office to arrange an appointment to fill out the regional application.
