Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

RSVP provides a variety of volunteer opportunities for retired and senior persons of any income level, age 55 and older.  

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) offers adults the opportunity to participate in their communities utilizing their skills, knowledge and life long experiences.

RSVP works with various non-profits and the volunteers have an opportunity to mentor children participate in pet therapy, work with museums, historical societies, hospitals, food banks, parks, gardens, gift shops, and theaters. Volunteers also knit and sew.

Volunteer benefits include secondary accident and liability insurance and, where possible, transportation reimbursement as available to and from volunteer assignment stations. The days and hours are flexible to all volunteers.

The RSVP serves Windham and southern New London counties.
