I would like to personally thank each and every staff members of Connecticut Works for their assistance in helping me to get a job. They have helped me in so many ways that I wouldn’t even know where to begin. I was discharged from the military in 2002. Connecticut Works paid for my CAN training and also paid for my uniforms in order for me to help support my family. They also paid my back taxes on my vehicle so I would have transportation to my job. I have since graduated from college with an Arts and Science degree and pursuing my register nursing degree this fall. I have lived in different states over the years, and Connecticut Works is the only employment agency that I have dealt with that is willing to go beyond any limitation to help their clients to get employment. I would like to say God bless the staff there and to keep up the good work.
