Community Services:
Support & Assistance

Get connected to the people and services that can benefit you. TVCCA Navigators can also assist with referrals to other community resources including but not limited to food banks, furniture banks, and housing authorities.

Alliance for Family Support

We are a collaboration of established Home Visiting programs that have served our community for many years. Our focus is to provide families in eastern Connecticut with the support they need to stay healthy and connected to partner providers.

Family Bridge Eastern CT

A no-cost nurse home visiting program for moms and newborns, with support for the entire family.

Little Learners

Little Learners is a comprehensive Infant/Toddler, Preschool and Childcare program that serves children from birth through age 5 and their families. The program is child-focused, with the overall goal of increasing young children’s school readiness.

Head Start

Head Start is a federally funded program for parents and preschool children 3 – 5 years old. A comprehensive school readiness program, it welcomes children with documented disabilities, providing supports and services accordingly.

Early Head Start

Early Head Start is a home visitation program whose services are provided by a parent educator in your home, to prepare young children for school. Our goal is to foster the healthy family relationships that provide the foundation for children to learn.

Employment Assistance

Whether you are a job seeker, underemployed, or switching careers, we can assist you with your job search and career development.

Energy Assistance

We provide a range of energy-related services including help with utility bills, heating system repair and replacement, budget counseling, and referrals for weatherization improvements.

Senior Nutrition Program

Serving people sixty years and older and their spouses who live in New London and Windham Counties and parts of Tolland County. The program provides Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors and hot lunches at Senior Centers throughout our service area.

WIC Program

The WIC Program is federally funded through the Connecticut Department of Health; TVCCA is the local agency providing this service for the towns in New London County, offering nutrition support and assistance for young children and their parents/caregivers.

Housing

TVCCA works with many partners throughout eastern Connecticut to help end homelessness and provide affordable housing. Click below to learn about our available housing programs.
