The goal of the Early Head Start program is to help prepare young children for school. Our purpose is to foster the healthy family relationships that provide the foundation for children to learn. Early Head Start is not a childcare program. Early Head Start is a home visitation program whose services are provided by a parent educator in your home. Each week at a mutually convenient time, the Early Head Start Home Visitor meets with parents for 90 minutes. A play group is also offered on a regular basis.
Enrollment/Inscripción
Please bring the following items to your scheduled appointment/ Por favor, traiga los siguientes artículos a su cita programada:
- Your child’s birth certificate/ Acta de nacimiento de su hijo/a
- Four weeks of consecutive pay verification (4 paystubs if paid weekly, 2 paystubs if paid every other week)/ Cuatro semanas consecutivas de comprobantes de pago (4 comprobantes si el pago es semanal, 2 comprobantes si el pago es quincenal)
- Copy of your child’s last physical, within 12 months noting dates for vaccinations including influenza, TB and lead tests./ Copia del último examen físico de su hijo/a, dentro de los últimos 12 meses, con las fechas de vacunación, incluyendo las pruebas de influenza, tuberculosis y plomo.
- Child’s medical insurance card/ Tarjeta del seguro médico del niño/a
If applicable/ Si corresponde:
- Legal Guardianship/ Tutela legal
- TANF, SNAP, or SSI documentation/ Documentación de TANF, SNAP, o SSI
- Copy of IEP or IFSP, if applicable/ Copia del Plan de Educación Individualizado (IEP) o Plan de Servicios Familiares Individualizados (IFSP), si corresponde
