Housing Programs

TVCCA works with many partners throughout Eastern Connecticut to help end homelessness and provide affordable housing. Click below to learn about our available housing programs.

TVCCA HOME AGAIN PROJECT

TVCCA’s Home Again Project is an emergency housing program that provides rapid re-housing services to homeless families with at least one child under the age of 18 (your child must be with you).

SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROGRAM

The TVCCA Supportive Housing Program offers permanent supportive housing. There are two distinct programs: The TVCCA Supportive Housing Collaborative and the A.P.T.S./Next Steps Supportive Housing Program.

SECTION 8 RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Section 8 or the Housing Choice Voucher Program, provides families and individuals with a housing subsidy to provide safe, affordable housing.

Cold Weather Shelter

TVCCA provides a safe, comfortable overnight space for those experiencing homelessness in the Norwich area. Guests can also learn about other services that are available through TVCCA’s other programs. The shelter is open every night from 7 pm – 7 am from December 1 through March 15.
